The Eversolo DMP-A8 offers significantly more inputs than the DMP-A6, with a total of 6 digital connections: 2 optical, 2 coaxial, 1 USB and 1 HDMI ARC. In addition to these digital connections, there are also 2 analogue inputs available, including an RCA and an XLR connection.

In addition, the DMP-A8 is equipped with a high-quality preamplifier, which has an analogue volume control based on precision resistors and relays. This ensures precise volume control, resulting in an analogue signal with very low distortion and minimal noise.

For optimum digital signal processing, the DMP-A8 has two femto-clocks, just like the Master Edition, which minimise jitter and ensure extremely precise digital-to-analogue conversion. This contributes to a particularly detailed and clear sound reproduction.

In addition, the Eversolo DMP-A8 also contains a DSP, with which various audio parameters can be adjusted as desired. This includes DSP volume control, parametric EQ, FIR filters, high-pass and low-pass filters, loudness optimization, compression and delay. Please note that these DSP functions are not available for the analog inputs and HDMI.
